Context-Aware Opening Greeting

The opening line of a call sets the entire tone. Fedna AI voice agents now open with an opening line that knows who's calling — and references them, their last interaction, or the reason they're likely calling.

What a context-aware opening looks like

  • Returning customer: "Hi Rajesh, great to hear from you again. Is this about the pricing we discussed yesterday?"
  • New caller: "Hi, thanks for calling. I'm here to help — what can I do for you today?"
  • Caller with an open task: "Hi Priya, I was about to follow up with you actually. Did you get a chance to look at the proposal?"

Why it matters

"Can I get your name please?" is the fastest way to tell a caller you don't know who they are. Even when the agent could have looked it up from the number. Context-aware greetings eliminate that friction — the agent sounds prepared from the first word.

Optional per agent

This behaviour is configurable — turn it on for agents where personalisation matters, keep it off for agents where every caller should be greeted identically.
